Ron Weijtjens graduated with honours from Erasmus Brussels University of Applied Sciences and Arts with a bachelor's degree in Landscape and Garden Architecture, and previously obtained his bachelor’s degree in Green Management with honours from PXL University College.
He has gained valuable internship and work experience in various garden design studios and organisations such as the Municipal Department of Urban Management of Maastricht and the Regional Landscape Scheldt-Durme – a Belgian government institution that supports the protection of local landscapes in all its aspects. His diverse background is a valuable asset as a landscape and garden designer.
Ron places great importance on biodiversity and climate-resilient planting, which is reflected in his advice as a climate garden coach for the Province of Limburg. He applies the same ideas and principles in his trial garden, where he likes to try out new plant species. In his spare time, Ron enjoys visiting gardens and nurseries in Belgium and abroad.
